The BAU has its main campus on the edge of the Bosphorus in Beşiktaş, welcoming a large number of international students from all over the worl. You will be located at the Galata Campus.

Travel

A shuttle service is provided for transportation between the campuses. The main campus is 10 minutes from the Istanbul airport.

Accommodation

Only one on-campus accommodation facility, Unihall, mainly reserved for English prep. students. BAU is affiliated with a student dormitory, Republika Residence, 10 - 15 minutes from the main campus. See here.

Health Insurance

Health insurance is mandatory when applying for the residence permit. BAU will offer assistance for acquiring of health insurance after registration. Fees of around 45 - 90 Eur/Yr will be charged.

Specifics

Students have a discount on public transportation, prices range between 10 - 20 Eur depending on mode of transport. The BAU International Student Committee (biscbau), is a student committee with representants from all the countries present at BAU, with a community group for each country, offering cultural,entertainment, and educational activities, where you will also get support in almost any issue. Academic Matters

You will attend regular courses at BAU that have been recognised by Macromedia. You will attend these course with other students from the partner university.
