Online Exams

All exams are conducted online via our Blackboard learning management system.

Exams are supervised remotely (proctoring) by our service provider Prüfster, ensuring real exam conditions even at home.

  • Training & Consultation: Each semester, we offer training sessions and office hours to help you prepare for the exam period.

 

Data Protection and Legal Basis

  • Exams are conducted in accordance with GDPR and §§ 17–19 of the General Study and Examination Regulations (ASPO).
  • All video recordings made during exams are deleted at the latest after the grade appeal phase.

Technical Issues During the Exam

  • Document the issue (screenshots, description).
  • Contact the hotline immediately.
  • If the issue cannot be resolved, submit a withdrawal request due to technical problems via “My Studies – Applications” and attach your documentation.
  • The examination board will review your request. If technical problems are verified, your exam attempt will be deleted.

Individual Concerns

If, after participating in training sessions, you still have valid reasons that make online exams difficult or impossible for you, please contact the examination office within the semester-specific deadline: pruefungsamt@macromedia.de. The deadline will be announced each semester.

Your concern will be reviewed individually and confidentially. Once processing is complete, you will receive notification of the status of your application and, if applicable, the campus where your exam will be held.
