Travel

Nicosia is linked to the 2 international airports: Larnaca International Airport and Paphos International Airport. Public transport within the city is currently served by a new and reliable bus service. Bus services in Nicosia are run by OSEL. In the northern part, the company of LETTAŞ provides this service. Many taxi companies operate in Nicosia. Fares are regulated by law and taxi drivers are obliged to use a taximeter.

Accommodation

EUC Housing staff will help you to find accommodation. Accommodation close like two minutes from the EUC University is Unihalls Trinity.

Health Insurance

All international students must have health insurance, covering medical expenses incurred as a consequence of an accident or health problems that could arise after the student's arrival in Cyprus.

EU students are strongly advised to acquire a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), entitling them to basic health care in other EU states. Participants that do not have such a card are required to have private health insurance. In both cases, however, students are advised to acquire additional insurance, sufficient to cover repatriation and specific medical interventions. Copies of all health insurance documents must be made available to European University Cyprus.

Specifics

A one time additional application fee of 52 EUR and a registration fee of 78 EUR will be charged. EUC students will be able to exercise and enjoy themselves at the New Life Health Centre multi-venue, which offers the most extensive fitness and health facility in the area. Please bear in mind that all students need to pay an application fee (approx. EUR 50) and a registration fee (approx. EUR 30) after arrival at EUC.

Academic Matters

You will attend regular courses that have been recognized by Macromedia. You will attend these courses along with other students from the partner university or customized courses for Macromedia's students.
