Vilnius College of Design (VCD) is characterized by its modern, inspiring environment, its practical relevance and specialization in art forms of all sorts (computer graphics, academic drawing, tailoring, construction, photography, design,etc.). Competent, international and energetic VCD academic community develops creative and independent personalities and seeks to become a point of reference for anyone who wants to discover a unique style, constantly improve and find new solutions for their ideas.

Travel

If possible, each student will be met at the airport by an assigned mentor from Vilnius College of Design.

Accommodation

Vilnius College of Design cannot guarantee any housing, but due to cooperation with several residences, Macromedia students will be supported to find accommodation:

Corner hotel - One of the most popular accommodation choices among Erasmus students, it is located near both the city center and College of Design.
LEU guest house - Is primarily focused on LEU's incoming students, however, there are usually rooms available for other incoming Erasmus students as well. Located close to city center and College of Design as well. LEU offers lower prices than Corner hotel, but the building and rooms are much older (still in an acceptable quality).
eLoftHOTEL - Same location as Corner hotel, lower prices as well.
Green Vilnius Hotel - Very modern accommodation option, the rooms are small and it is one of the most expensive for long-term rents. It is far from the city center and the campus (around 20-25 min. bus ride).
Simple Hotel - A low budget, basic option in the suburb of Vilnius. It is around 30-40 minutes away from College of Design by bus.
Downtown Forest - Located in the old town of Vilnius, a unexpensive, artistic and cozy option, however difficult to reach by public transport.
Private flat rent market - If you prefer comfort and privacy, the best option is to rent a flat. There are a few websites to help you out with the search and also a page on Facebook.

Health Insurance

Please make sure to take out (health) insurance that satisfies your personal needs.

Academic Matters

You will attend regular courses that have been recognized by Macromedia. You will attend these courses along with students from the partner university or customized courses for Macromedia's Students.
