You will receive information about pre-booked spots in the following halls of residence (usually 20-30 places available):
- Avery Hill - Travel free with the intercampus bus
- McMillan Student Village - Studios and shared flats, only a fiftheen minute walk from city center

The university has a partnership with the Studentpad, an online student accommodation service, that helps students find private accommodation.

There might be a chance that you need to come back to the University of Greenwich after Christmas in January for exams.
Academic Matters
You will attend regular courses at the UoG that have been recognised by Macromedia. You will attend these courses along with other students from the partner university at the Business School and the Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Humanities.
The University of Greenwich has introduced international students' attendance monitoring for all international students entering with a Tier 4 Student Visa. This checks whether international students are actually studying; if this should not be the case, the university must notify the UK Visas and Immigration.

Health Insurance
OSHC is normally sufficient, a privat health insurance is not neccessary but a comprehensive travel insurance is recommended. EU citizens should register with a GP as soon as they arrive in the UK. For assitance and information see student hub.

Amongst other services, there is a 24/7 security on campus, and different catering outlets are offered. Catering service also offer specific dietary requirements, so students will find everything they might need without having to leave the campus. Students with dissabilities will find support from the support team.
