Macromedia Scholarships
Macromedia Excellence Scholarship
Excellence Scholarships are designed as knowledge scholarships. Students have the opportunity to attend Macromedia certificate courses or external courses. A reduction in the tuition fee can also be granted if appropriate evidence is provided.
Who is the scholarship intended for?
Bachelor: The Excellence Scholarship is intended for students in their 3rd, 4th or 5th semester. The grade point average of the last two completed semesters must be between 1.0 and 1.5 per semester. After the 3rd semester you must have 60 credits, after the 4th semester 90 credits and after the 5th semester 120 credits.
Master's: You are in the 1st semester and have completed your Bachelor's degree with a grade between 1.0 and 1.5.
When can I apply?
The application deadline will be communicated by e-mail with further information.
What do I have to submit?
You must submit the required transcripts of record, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation from a Macromedia professor. Further details will follow by email during the semester.

External Scholarships
These scholarships are administered by Macromedia, but are financed by external institutions.
Promos
Who is the scholarship intended for?
German students who would like to go abroad from the 3rd semester onwards and who have a grade point average of 3.0 or better. In addition, an extraordinary commitment in an international context should be demonstrated (Buddy Project, StuVe etc.).
When can I apply?
From March. Submission Deadline: 15.04.
What do I have to admit?
A transcript of records, a CV and proof of commitment to Macromedia (e.g. letter of recommendation).

BWS - Baden-Württemberg-Scholarship
Who is the scholarship intended for?
Students from Stuttgart and Freiburg who would like to go abroad from the 3rd semester onwards and have an average grade of 3.0 or better. In addition, an extraordinary commitment in an international context should be demonstrated (Buddy Project, StuVe etc.).
When can I apply?
From March. Submission Deadline: 15.04.

Thomas-Heinrich-Scholarship
Who is the scholarship intended for?
Students who would like to go abroad from the 3rd semester onwards and have an average grade of 3.0 or better. In addition, an extraordinary commitment in an international context should be demonstrated (Buddy Project, StuVe etc.).
When can I apply?
From March. Submission Deadline: 15.04.

Engagement-Scholarship
Who is the scholarship intended for?
International students from the 3rd semester in the Bachelor's programme or from the 2nd semester in the Master's programme who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or better and at least 20 ECTS per semester. In addition, an extraordinary commitment in an international context at Macromedia should be demonstrated (Buddy Project, StuVe etc.).
When can I apply?
Once a year on 31.08.
What do I have to submit?
A transcript of records, a curriculum vitae, a copy of the certificate of residence and proof of commitment to Macromedia (e.g. letter of recommendation).

DAAD-Prize
Who is the scholarship intended for?
International students from the 3rd semester in the Bachelor's programme or from the 2nd semester in the Master's programme who have a grade point average of 3.0 or better. In addition, an extraordinary commitment in an international context outside Macromedia should be demonstrated.
When can I apply?
Once a year on 31.08.
What do I have to submit?
A transcript of records, a CV and proof of commitment (e.g. letter of recommendation).
