Artificial Intelligence

Since the summer semester 2023, the use of AI for project work has been permitted and encouraged.

 A number of rules have been established for this project:

 

1. All AI systems and AI prompts used are documented in the appendix of the project paper or thesis. 
2. the documentation is done via an AI directory. 
3. the KI directory contains the following detailed information for all prompts used
   1. Page number and paragraph where they were used in the project paper or thesis.
   2. Exact wording of the prompt
   3. Description of the level of adoption and explanation of the approach.
4. in the case of AI conversations (multi-stage "Promptng"), all steps up to the result used are documented.
5. all prompts used are numbered consecutively.
6. in the project paper or thesis itself (in the text, in images, in tables), the prompt used is referred to at the relevant point with an APA short citation bracket.
7. statements in KI texts are supported by external sources according to APA rules, as is usual in scientific texts.
